Warnsdorferhütte in the Krimml Achental valley

This challenging hike takes you through the idyllic Krimmler Achental valley to the Warnsdorfer Hütte at 2,336 m. Along the way, you will pass impressive waterfalls and enjoy the alpine landscape.

 

  • Duration: approx. 6:20 hours

  • Distance: 19 km

  • Elevation gain: approx. 1,250 m

  • Difficulty: medium to challenging

Richterhütte in the Rainbachtal

This medium-difficulty tour leads from the Krimmler Tauernhaus through the Rainbachtal valley to the Richterhütte at 2,367 m. The trail offers impressive views of the surrounding glaciers and the alpine landscape.

 

  • Duration: approx. 4:30 hours (outward and return journey)

  • Distance: 12.5 km

  • Elevation gain: approx. 723 m

  • Difficulty: medium

Wildkarsee

This challenging mountain tour takes you to the picturesque Wildkarsee lake at 2,490 m. The trail offers spectacular views and leads through varied alpine landscapes.

 

  • Duration: approx. 5-6 hours (outward and return journey)

  • Elevation gain: approx. 1,000 m

  • Difficulty: demanding

Tour to the Wildkarsee and Seekarsee lakes

This combined tour connects the two mountain lakes Wildkarsee and Seekarsee. The route leads over the Seekarscharte and offers impressive panoramic views.

  • Difficulty: demanding

Großvenediger

The ascent of the Großvenediger (3,657 m) is a classic high-altitude tour and requires alpine experience and glacier equipment. The ascent is mostly via the Kürsingerhütte.

  • Elevation gain: over 1,200 m
